Upgrading my blog to Wordpress 2.7 earlier this year resulted in a severe slowdown of page loading time (10-20 seconds), and this continued when I upgraded to WP 2.8 a month ago. Finding a solution has been at the bottom of my to-do list for a long time, but now I am happy to see that things seem to be up to speed again. I guess someone upgraded something on the server. Good to see that time solves some problems at least!
