I am reading e-mail using IMAP, and don’t want to store large attachments on the server. Depending on the computer and platform I am working on, I use several different clients (Firefox, Opera, Pine, SquirrelMail), but I am using Apple Mail as my main client. For some time I have been annoyed that there was no way to remove attachments from e-mails. This was based on the assumption that all necessary and relevant features are available in the contextual menus that popup when right-clicking on a message. Too bad I hadn’t bothered about checking out all the options in the regular menus, because reciding in the message menu is, indeed, the option to remove attachments.
It is never too late to learn about useful features!
